Fantasy Impact:

Hader was able to throw on flat ground on Wednesday and said he felt fine. He acknowledged he is a few weeks behind schedule but declined to speculate on his availability for Opening Day. Hader also said he believes the biceps issue is independent of the shoulder capsule sprain that sidelined him last season. If he is unavailable to open the season, Bryan Abreu would likely handle save situations for the Houston Astros.
