Connor Prielipp expected to remain starter at Triple-A

by Bruno Mulé | Twins Correspondent | Tue, Feb 24th 10:08am EST

Prielipp tossed 1.2 scoreless innings with two strikeouts and three walks in his spring debut Monday. He underwent Tommy John surgery in 2021, then required internal brace surgery on the same elbow in July 2023 after being selected 48th overall in the 2022 draft. (Minnesota Star Tribune)

Fantasy Impact:

Minnesota limited Prielipp to fewer than five innings per start throughout last season until late September. His fastball reached 97.5 mph Monday, and he has added a slow curveball to complement his existing slider and changeup. With the Twins signing three veteran left-handed relievers this offseason, Prielipp is likely to remain in the starting rotation at Triple-A.
