Jordan Wicks (forearm) dealing with inflammation

Wicks (forearm) appeared in eight games out of the bullpen for Chicago in 2025, striking out 13 against one walk across 14.1 innings. He surrendered 10 earned runs on 24 hits during that stretch. (Maddie Lee)
Fantasy Impact:
Manager Craig Counsell said Wednesday that Wicks has been diagnosed with left forearm inflammation. An MRI returned negative results, and the organization is optimistic the issue will not result in an extended absence. Wicks has not yet appeared in a Cactus League game this spring.
