Romy Gonzalez (shoulder) faces potential surgery

Gonzalez (shoulder) has dealt with left shoulder inflammation throughout most of the offseason. The issue has prevented him from participating in any baseball activities during spring training. (Rob Bradford)
Fantasy Impact:
Tuesday will bring an evaluation of his left shoulder to determine whether surgery is required. Gonzalez was already unlikely to be available for Opening Day before the evaluation. Kristian Campbell, Nate Eaton and Andruw Monasterio are competing for roster positions.
