Effross (oblique) joined Detroit as a non-roster invitee. He allowed four runs on six hits and five walks across 2.2 innings during spring training. (Chris McCosky)
Fantasy Impact:
His oblique tightened after his last Grapefruit League appearance on Saturday. The left oblique strain has resulted in a shutdown from throwing activities. The duration of his absence has not been determined.
