Keider Montero allowed two hits and two walks while striking out two over six scoreless innings in Sunday's win over the Athletics.

Montero continues an impressive stretch of late, allowing two earned runs or less in seven of his last nine trips to the mound. The right-hander will look to continue to offer manager AJ Hinch a reliable starting option as part of a revamped Tigers rotation after the trade deadline, posting a 3.17 ERA and 1.00 WHIP with an 8-6 record and .606 OPS allowed across 24 appearances.
