In four appearances this spring, Darrell-Hicks allowed three runs in four innings. The righthander made his major league debut last season, combining for 9.2 innings with the Angels and Pirates. He allowed eight runs on 10 hits with an 8:4 K:BB ratio. Darrell-Hicks has a 4.60 ERA in four minor league seasons, striking out 245 batters in 219 innings. He'll likely be ticketed for Triple-A Indianapolis to begin the year.
