Luis Medina to begin season in Athletics bullpen

The Athletics have announced that right-hander Luis Medina has made the Opening Day roster and will operate out of the bullpen to begin the season. (Martin Gallegos on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Medina certainly didn't have a great spring, allowing six earned runs and a hefty nine walks in just 7 1/3 innings of work, but will nonetheless get a chance to stick in the club's bullpen, beginning on Opening Day. The 26-year-old has posted a 5.35 ERA across 31 outings (25 starts) in the big leagues.
