Left-hander Austin Gomber will not make the Rangers Opening Day roster, according to general manager Chris Young. (Shawn McFarland on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Gomber inked a minors deal with the Rangers in January, but has failed to secure a spot in the team's bullpen this spring. With a wealth of big league experience under his belt (705 2/3 innings), it's likely Gomber will opt out of his minors deal in search of another opportunity elsewhere in the big leagues.
