Michael Busch went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two runs scored, and a run batted in during the Cubs' 10-4 loss to the Nationals on Opening Day Thursday. He also drew a walk.
Fantasy Impact:
Busch led off and played first base for the Cubs on Opening Day and was on base four times in the loss. He doubled in the first, had an RBI single - and came around to score - in the third, walked in the fifth, doubled and scored in the seventh, and grounded out in the eighth. Busch posted career-bests in home runs (34) and RBI (90) last season and could reach those figures again in 2026.
