Robbie Ray solid in loss to Yankees
by Chris Schommer | Giants Correspondent | Sat, Mar 28th 9:47am EDT
Robbie Ray allowed two earned runs on five hits and no walks while striking out four over 5 1/3 innings in Friday's loss to the Yankees.
Fantasy Impact:
Ray’s lone mistake resulted in giving up a two-run home run to Yankees slugger Aaron Judge in the top of the sixth inning to give New York a 2-0 lead. The veteran left-hander will once again be relied on as one of the more stable options in the San Francisco rotation for first-year manager Tony Vitello after posting a 1.21 WHIP and 3.65 ERA over 32 starts (11-8) on the mound in 2025 for the Giants.
