by Chris Schommer | Giants Correspondent | Sun, Mar 29th 9:18am EDT
Tyler Mahle allowed two earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out five over four innings in Saturday's loss to the Yankees.
Fantasy Impact:
Mahle's lone blemish resulted in a Ben Rice two-run double to give the Yankees a 2-0 lead in the top of the third inning. The right-hander arrived in the offseason after signing a one-year deal as part of a revamped San Francisco rotation behind Logan Webb and Robbie Ray. The 31-year-old posted a solid 2.18 ERA and 1.13 WHIP over 16 starts (6-4, 66 strikeouts) on the mound for the Texas Rangers during the 2025 season.
