Jose Quintana settles for no-decision Sunday

by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Sun, Mar 29th 9:47pm EDT

Jose Quintana went 4.1 innings in his first start in a Colorado uniform on Sunday and the lefthander allowed two runs on four hits with four walks and two strikeouts. Miami earned a 4-3 win over the Rockies to complete the three-game sweep.

Fantasy Impact:

Quintana was given a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning and, while he did leave with a 3-2 lead, did not pitch long enough to factor in the decision. The veteran lefthander needed 78 pitches to get through 4.1 innings with just over half (42 pitches) thrown for strikes. Quintana is tentatively scheduled to pitch at home next weekend against the Phillies.
