Abreu slashed .247/.317/.469 with 22 home runs in 2025 and has carried that power into the new season, going 6-for-13 with four extra-base hits and four RBI while starting each of Boston's first three games. He gave the Red Sox an early lead Sunday with a two-run blast in the fourth inning.
Fantasy Impact:
Manager Alex Cora plans to deploy Abreu more frequently against left-handed pitching in 2026. He finished 3-for-4 with two RBI in Sunday's 3-2 loss to Cincinnati.
