Tigers left-hander Tarik Skubal pitched seven innings of one-run ball on Wednesday against the D-backs, but took the loss in a 1-0 defeat.
Fantasy Impact:
Skubal struck out just three in this one, but didn't issue a walk and allowed six hits. His lone blemish came early in the form of a Corbin Caroll solo home run in the first, while his offense provided him with zero run support en route to his first loss of the season. His next start is scheduled to come on Tuesday on the road against the Twins.
