Mitch Keller goes six in first win of season Friday
by David Leisering | Pirates Correspondent | Sat, Apr 4th 12:11am EDT
Mitch Keller (1-0) allowed two runs on six hits in six innings to earn his first victory of the season in Pittsburgh's 5-4 win over Baltimore on Friday. The righthander walked four and struck out four.
Fantasy Impact:
Keller allowed his first two runs of the season on Friday as Baltimore scored two in the fifth to snap a streak of 10.1 scoreless innings to start his 2026 season. Keller has allowed two runs on nine hits in 12 innings through his two starts and has posted a 7:4 K:BB ratio. He's lined up to start next Wednesday against the Padres and, while he's not an exciting pitcher to roster in fantasy leagues, he is durable and fairly consistent.
