Joe Boyle allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits and three walks while striking out nine in Friday's 10-4 loss to the Minnesota Twins.
Fantasy Impact:
Boyle made his second start of the season on Friday and once again looked strong, recording nine strikeouts. He was limited to just 5.1 innings as his pitch count climbed to 104. Filling in for the injured Ryan Pepiot (hip), Boyle has posted a 3.18 ERA and 0.88 WHIP across 11.1 innings. His next scheduled start is Wednesday against the Chicago Cubs.
