Kerry Carpenter went 1-for-4 in the Tigers' 11-6 win over the Cardinals, belting a three-run home run.

Carpenter has provided modest impact at the plate of late, recording hits in four of his last five games. The 28-year-old continues to possess a powerful bat while fighting through strikeout issues to begin the season, batting just .172 with one home run, two runs scored, and four RBI to go along with 14 strikeouts so far this season.
