Jack Flaherty allowed five earned runs on three hits and four walks while striking out six over four innings in Saturday's win over the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact:
Flaherty has fought control issues on the mound to begin the season, walking four batters while failing to reach the fifth inning in each of his first two starts. The right-hander provides fantasy managers a risky starting option while control issues persist early in the season in the Detroit rotation, posting a 1.80 WHIP and 7.56 ERA to go along with a 1.00 K/BB ratio in two starts to this point.
