Ryan O'Hearn sets tone for Pirates' victory Sunday
by David Leisering | Pirates Correspondent | Sun, Apr 5th 9:46pm EDT
Ryan O'Hearn went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in the bottom of the first inning to get the Pirates' going in their 8-2 win over Baltimore on Sunday. O'Hearn also doubled and finished with four runs driven in.
Fantasy Impact:
O'Hearn has been a major addition to the improved Pirates' lineup as his first-inning, two-run blast off of Baltimore starter, Chris Bassitt, was already his third of the season. O'Hearn also laced a two-run double in the bottom of the second to extend the Pittsburgh lead to 6-0. The veteran is batting .367 (11-of-30) with a 1.159 OPS through eight games this season. O'Hearn is tied for third in the National League in batting average and tied for fourth in both home runs (3) and RBI (11) early on. He should be rostered in all fantasy formats.
