Oneil Cruz went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, a home run, and three runs batted in to lift the Pirates to an 8-2 win over Baltimore on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Cruz belted a two-run shot off of Baltimore reliever, Cade Povich, in the bottom of the sixth inning for his fourth round tripper of the season. He is tied for the National League lead with Atlanta's Drake Baldwin and Chicago's Ian Happ in that department. He also had an RBI single in the bottom of the second which extended the Pirates' lead to 3-0. Cruz started the season 2-for-14 through his first four games, but has gone 9-for-21 (.429) over his last five outings. All told, Cruz is up to .314 (11-of-35) with a 1.025 OPS, four home runs, and 10 runs batted in.
