Austin Slater went 2-for-3 with a run scored and one stolen base in Sunday’s 7-6 victory over the New York Yankees.

Slater recorded his first hit of the season on Sunday, adding his first stolen base and run scored in the process. While he’s hitting at the top of the order against left-handed pitchers, he hasn’t produced consistently with the opportunity. Serving in a platoon role, Slater is best left on the waiver wire despite showing some signs of life in Sunday’s victory.
