Keider Montero takes no-decision in season debut Sunday
by Brenton Kemp | Tigers Correspondent | Mon, Apr 6th 11:01am EDT
Tigers right-hander Keider Montero took a no-decision after throwing 4 1/3 innings of two-run ball Sunday night against the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact:
Montero held his own in his MLB season debut, allowing just three hits and a walk against three strikeouts on Sunday Night Baseball. The 25-year-old has been called upon as rotation depth a good amount over the last two seasons as Monteor now owns a 4.56 ERA through 40 outings (29 starts) in the big leagues since the beginning of the 2024 season. He will remain in the rotation until Justin Verlander (hip) returns from the 15-day IL.
