Matt Shaw homers for second straight game
by David Leisering | Cubs Correspondent | Mon, Apr 6th 11:02pm EDT
Matt Shaw hit his second home run in as many days on Monday, but the Cubs fell to the Rays, 6-4. The home run was Shaw's only hit in four at bats.
Fantasy Impact:
Shaw pulled the Cubs to within two in the top of the ninth with a solo home run off of Rays' reliever, Bryan Baker. However, Pete Crow-Armstrong struck out to end the game as that was as close as the Cubs would get. Shaw is batting .222 (6-for-27) with two home runs and five runs batted in through nine contests as Chicago's primary right fielder.
