Colin Rea goes five strong innings in first start of year

Colin Rea allowed just a run on two hits in five innings on Wednesday to earn his first victory of the season in a 6-2 Cubs' win over the Rays. Rea walked two and struck out two.
Fantasy Impact:
Rea (1-0) made his first start of the year in place of the injured Cade Horton, who will miss the entire year after undergoing UCL surgery. The veteran righthander allowed a one-out single to Jonathan Aranda in the first and a leadoff single to Jonny DeLuca - who later scored on a sacrifice fly by Aranda - in the third. Rea has a 3.18 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP through 11.1 innings in three appearances. He'll likely remain in the rotation for the foreseeable future and his next turn up would be Tuesday in Philadelphia.
