by Robert Finkelstein | Cubs Correspondent | Fri, Apr 10th 7:19pm EDT

Shota Imanaga took a no-decision against the Pittsburgh Pirates, tossing 6.0 hitless innings with one walk and nine strikeouts in Friday's 2-0 loss to the Pirates.

Fantasy Impact:

Imanaga was able to baffle the Pirates lineup with his signature splitter and high-carry fastball. He exited the game after throwing 100 pitches (68 for strikes). Through his first three starts of the year, Imanaga has logged 16.0 innings with a 2.81 ERA and a 0.81 WHIP. His ability to pound the strike zone while generating swing-and-miss has resulted in 20 strikeouts against only 4 walks (5.0 K/BB).
