Jose Soriano improved to 4-0 on the young season allowing just two hits, while walking three and striking out 10, in seven scoreless innings as the Angels hung on for a 9-6 win over Reds on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Soriano became the first four-game winner in the majors and took over the major league lead with a 0.33 ERA through four starts. The righthander allowed just one baserunner past first base on Sunday as the Reds got runners to first and second with two outs in the fourth before Soriano struck out Nathaniel Lowe to end the inning. Soriano has now struck out 10 batters in back-to-back starts, also turning the trick on Monday against the Braves. He continues to be one of the biggest surprises in baseball through the first three weeks as he is 4-0 with a 0.33 ERA and a 0.67 WHIP. Soriano has limited opponents to a .103 batting average, allowing nine hits in 27 innings with a 31:9 K:BB ratio. He's scheduled to face the Padres on Friday.
