Chris Paddack flashes control in loss Wednesday
by Nicholas Rodriguez | Marlins Correspondent | Thu, Apr 16th 6:37am EDT
Chris Paddack allowed two earned runs on five hits while striking out four over 4.2 innings in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Braves.
Fantasy Impact:
All of Paddack’s damage came in the second inning, when he allowed four hits and two runs. He was otherwise sharp, recording 1-2-3 frames in the first, third and fourth while not issuing a single walk in the contest. After surrendering eight earned runs in his season debut against the Chicago White Sox, Paddack has turned things around, posting a 2.35 ERA and 1.30 WHIP over his last three starts. He will look to deliver another solid outing in his next scheduled start on Tuesday against the St. Louis Cardinals.
