Nick Kurtz went 2-for-4 Thursday, doubling, walking once, and driving in three runs in the Athletics' 9-6 loss to the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Kurtz has provided mixed results at the plate of late, recording hits in three of his last six games. The 23-year-old has been one of many frustrating options as part of an inconsistent Athletics lineup for manager Mark Kotsay to this point, batting .206 with eight runs scored, two stolen bases, one home run, and six RBI through 18 games.
