Jacob Lopez allowed two earned runs on three hits while also walking four and striking out five over five innings in the Athletics' 9-6 loss to the Rangers Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
Lopez continues to struggle with control issues, walking three or more batters in each of his first four starts. The left-hander has been one of many frustrating options in the Athletics rotation to begin the season for manager Mark Kotsay, posting a 1.96 WHIP and 6.38 ERA with a 1-1 record and 0.94 K/BB ratio through four starts.
