Jeremy Pena has resumed hitting and was on the field prior to Friday's game against the New York Yankees, fielding grounders and throwing to first base. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Pena has not played since April 11 due to a Grade 1 right hamstring strain, but has begun running, hitting and fielding, all encouraging signs. He is expected to complete a minor league rehab assignment before being activated from the injured list.
