Zack Wheeler delivers encouraging effort in season debut

Zack Wheeler allowed two earned runs on three hits and three walks while striking out six over five innings in Saturday's win over Atlanta.
Fantasy Impact:
In his first start for the Phillies since August 15, Wheeler was able to hold the red-hot Braves in check while firing 84 pitches over five frames. Understandably, Wheeler was not as sharp as usual, but he countered his three walks with six punch outs. The three-time All-Star appears ready to reassert himself after battling back from surgery this past September. Wheeler is in line to take the mound Friday against the Marlins.
