Wilber Dotel pitched four perfect innings, striking out three, on Monday as the Pirates suffered a 4-2 loss to the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact:
Dotel was pre-determined to work in a bulk relief role on Monday and looked quite impressive, needed just 44 pitches to breeze through four perfect innings. It was just his third career appearance and he now sports a 1.35 ERA in 6.2 innings with a 4:3 K:BB ratio. It's unclear what Dotel's role will look like moving forward, but he looked great on Monday.
