by David Leisering | Pirates Correspondent | Wed, Apr 29th 10:06am EDT

Konnor Griffin went 2-for-4 with a solo home run on Tuesday as the Pirates lost to the Cardinals.

Fantasy Impact:

Griffin hit his first career home run at PNC Park, and his second home run of the year, off of Cardinals' reliever Matt Svanson in the ninth. He also added a single in the fifth for his third multiple-hit game in his last five outings. The youngster is 7-for-18 (.389) with both of his home runs over his last five games and has brought his average up to .226 for the season. Griffin is looking more comfortable at the plate and the hits are now starting to fall for the 20-year-old.
