Pete Crow-Armstrong steals seventh base of season Tuesday

by David Leisering | Cubs Correspondent | Wed, May 6th 12:51am EDT

Pete Crow-Armstrong went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored on Tuesday as the Cubs edged the Reds, 3-2, in 10 innings.

Fantasy Impact:

Crow-Armstrong singled with one out in the seventh, stole his seventh base of the season, and scored on an RBI single from Alex Bregman for the Cubs' first run of the game. Crow-Armstrong is hitting .237 with a .662 OPS through 36 games this season. However, fantasy owners who were hoping for a repeat of his 30-30 season last year have to be pretty disappointed with the young center fielder thus far. Crow-Armstrong has only three home runs and seven stolen bases nearly a quarter of the way through the season.
