Shota Imanaga strikes out 10 in win over Reds Thursday

Shota Imanaga struck out 10 batters over six strong innings on Thursday, lifting the Cubs to an 8-3 win over Cincinnati.

Fantasy Impact:

The lefthander allowed one run on six hits, walked three, and struck out 10 to earn his fourth win of the season. The only blemish on his day was a solo home run by Sal Stewart in the sixth. Imanaga reached double figures in strikeouts for the second time this season and is ranked third in the National League with 53 punchouts in 47.1 innings. The southpaw has allowed one run or fewer in six of his eight starts and is 4-2 with a 2.28 ERA this season. He has a tough matchup next week as he will take the ball on Wednesday in Atlanta.
