Franco Aleman called up to Guardians

Franco Aleman has been called up from Triple-A Columbus to the Cleveland Guardians. He should be available on Friday at home against the Twins. (Francys Romero on X)

Aleman got off to a dominant start in Columbus, allowing just one unearned run on three hits with an 18:4 K:BB ratio in 12 innings. Drafted in the 10th round by Cleveland in 2021, Aleman typically hits the upper 90s with his fastball and will be making his major league debut when he gets into a game.
