Jose Soriano went 7.2 innings on Sunday, allowing a run on five hits with a walk and seven strikeouts as he helped the Angels to a 6-1 victory over Toronto.

Fantasy Impact:

After allowing eight runs on 14 hits in nine innings over his previous two starts, Soriano bounced back with another impressive performance on Sunday. The righthander allowed Toronto's only run of the game in the first inning when Kazuma Okamoto ripped an RBI double. After getting out of the inning, Soriano allowed just three singles over his final 6.2 scoreless innings. Soriano improved to 6-2 on the season and leads the American League in wins. He also ranks third in the AL in ERA (1.66), innings (54.1), and strikeouts (61). Soriano is scheduled to take the ball again on Saturday against the Dodgers.
