Nick Martinez allowed one run on seven hits and no walks while striking out three batters across 5.2 innings in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Boston Red Sox.
Fantasy Impact:
Martinez didn’t have his best outing, as he allowed seven hits and hit two batters, but was able to work out of trouble and leave runners stranded in each of his first five innings. He’s been one of the top pitchers in MLB this season, owning a 1.70 ERA (fourth in MLB) along with a 1.05 WHIP across eight starts. His next scheduled start is on Saturday against the Miami Marlins.
