Brent Suter suffered the loss as the Angels' opener on Monday after he allowed two runs on two hits, walked one, and struck out one in 1.2 innings.

Suter retired the first four batters he faced before allowing back-to-back singles, a force out, and a walk to load the bases with two outs in the second. Jose Fermin came on and allowed a two-run single to Brayan Rocchio before getting out of the inning.
