Brent Suter suffers loss as opener Monday

Brent Suter suffered the loss as the Angels' opener on Monday after he allowed two runs on two hits, walked one, and struck out one in 1.2 innings.

Fantasy Impact:

Suter retired the first four batters he faced before allowing back-to-back singles, a force out, and a walk to load the bases with two outs in the second. Jose Fermin came on and allowed a two-run single to Brayan Rocchio before getting out of the inning. It was Suter's second time serving as the Angels' opener this season and, in his two starts, he has given up three runs on five hits with three walks and three strikeouts in 3.2 innings. On the year, Suter is 1-2 with a 4.50 ERA across 24 innings.
