Carmen Mlodzinski picks up win in bulk relief outing Thursday

Carmen Mlodzinski allowed two runs on four hits, walked three, and struck out two in five innings on Thursday as the Pirates defeated the Rockies, 7-2.

Fantasy Impact:

It wasn't his best outing of the season, but Mlodzinski got the job done in five relief innings to pick up his third win of the season. The righty has been gone in his two bulk relief appearances this season, going 2-0 and allowing two runs on six hits with a 7:5 K:BB ratio in 11 innings. Mlodzinski has now given up two runs or fewer in six of his nine appearances, despite his three walks on Thursday tying a season-high. He is 3-3 with a 4.40 ERA and a 43:16 K:BB ratio across 46 innings this season.
