Lourdes Gurriel Jr. connects on first home run of season Sunday

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit his first home run of the season and finished Sunday's game with two hits in five at bats as the Diamondbacks defeated the Rockies, 8-6.

Fantasy Impact:

Gurriel Jr. took Michael Lorenzen deep in the fifth inning for his first home run of the season. Earlier in the game, he had an RBI single, finishing with two runs batted in on the day. With his two runs batted in, he now has driven in 500 runs in his big league career. Gurriel Jr.'s home run was his first since August 25 of last season. After starting the year on the injured list, Gurriel Jr. is batting .228 with one home run, nine RBI, and one stolen base in 21 games this season.
