Contreras has caught fire at the plate of late, collecting hits in each of his last eight games with 10 RBI in that span. The 34-year-old has offered manager Chad Tracy one of the few impactful bats as part of an underwhelming Red Sox lineup, posting an .898 OPS with 11 home runs, 33 RBI, 25 runs scored, and one stolen base across 50 games.
