Chris Sale claims eighth win of the season
by Nate Miller | Braves Correspondent | Thu, May 28th 10:00pm EDT
Chris Sale allowed two runs on six hits and three walks while striking out eight over five innings in Thursday's 10-2 win over the Red Sox.
Fantasy Impact:
Sale certainly wasn't at his most efficient form on his old home mound Thursday afternoon, as he needed 96 pitches to get through five innings and tied a season high with three walks. The Braves were able to grab a 7-2 lead with a five-run top of the sixth, so Sale exited with a comfortable advantage that held up. The ace lefty is one of only four pitchers to reach eight wins to this point, and he's sporting a 2.01 ERA alongside an elite 30.1 K% through 11 starts.
