Blue Jays shortstop Andres Gimenez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 2-1 win over the Orioles on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
Gimenez got the scoring started on a quiet offensive night in Baltimore on Thursday, taking former teammate Chris Bassitt deep in the third inning. The long ball was Gimenez's sixth of the season and first since May 11 when he went deep twice against the Rays. The 27-year-old has struggled since a hot start to the season, and is slashing .223/.260/.370 with six homers, 14 runs, 28 RBI, and six stolen bases across 54 games on the season.
