Shota Imanaga struggles continue Friday in loss to Cardinals

Shota Imanaga allowed five runs on five hits - including three home runs - in 5.1 innings on Friday as the Cubs suffered a 6-5 loss to the Cardinals.

Imanaga served up three home runs for the second consecutive game and has now allowed eight blasts over his last three starts. Over his last three outings, Imanaga has pitched to an 11.49 ERA allowing 20 earned runs on 21 hits in 15.2 innings of work. The lefthander has dropped four straight decisions and is now 4-6 with a 4.37 ERA in 12 starts this season. He'll look to get back on track when he takes on the Athletics on Thursday.
