Carson Benge hits fourth homer

Benge showed a lower strikeout rate in May than he did in April and has hit leadoff in 19 consecutive games dating back to May 12, six of which came against left-handed starters. The rookie hit a solo homer to lead off the bottom of the first inning Sunday for his fourth of the season.
