Andrew Abbott throws quality start, takes no-decision Tuesday
by Brenton Kemp | Reds Correspondent | Tue, Jun 2nd 10:31pm EDT
Reds left-hander Andrew Abbott allowed three earned runs across six innings in a no-decision Tuesday against the Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
Abbott managed to rack up his second consecutive quality start, but wasn't particularly sharp on Tuesday. The southpaw surrendered five hits and walked another four while punching out five Royals hitters on the evening. Nonetheless, the 27-year-old hasn't allowed more than three earned runs in seven consecutive starts. He owns a 4.06 ERA and 1.44 WHIP in 13 starts and lines up to take on the Padres on the road early next week.
