JJ Bleday plays more long ball Monday versus Royals
by Brenton Kemp | Reds Correspondent | Tue, Jun 2nd 4:49pm EDT
Reds outfielder JJ Bleday went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 9-2 loss to the Royals on Monday.
Fantasy Impact:
Bleday got the Reds on the board early in this one, hitting a first-inning solo shot off Royals starter Luinder Avila. Unfortunately, Royals outfielder Lane Thomas had already hit a grand slam in the top half of the inning in an eventual blowout win for the visitors. Nonetheless, Bleday stayed white-hot in this one as he's slashing .301/.398/.655 with 10 homers, 19 runs, 27 RBI, and a stolen base across just 31 games this season.
