by David Leisering | Cubs Correspondent | Sat, Jun 6th 10:34pm EDT
Ben Brown allowed one hit, walked one, and struck out five over 5.1 scoreless innings on Saturday, helping the Cubs to a win over the Giants.
Fantasy Impact:
Brown allowed only a two-out single to Luis Arraez in the first and a walk to Rafael Devers in the third. He also hit Matt Chapman with a pitch in the second. The young righthander has allowed one run or fewer in five of his six starts and has pitched to a 1.44 ERA with a 0.77 WHIP and a 34:8 K:BB ratio during his starting assignments. Overall, Brown is 2-2 with a 1.74 ERA and a 58:16 K:BB ratio in 57 innings over 18 appearances. He's lined up to get the Giants again on Friday and should absolutely be rostered in all formats at this point.
